2דָּנִיֵּאל, priest of the line of Ithamar Ezra 8:2; Nehemiah 10:7.

3 דָּנִאֵל a great sage Ezekiel 28:3; classed with Noah and Job as models of righteousness Ezekiel 14:14,20; perhaps the same as

4דָּנִיֵּאל, one of the noble young men taken into captivity by Nebuchadrezzar according to Daniel 1:1-6, the hero of the book of Daniel , Daniel 1:6 22t. (also frequently in Aramaic section).
