Qal Perfect 3 feminine singular אֶלאֱֿלוֺהַּ דָּֽלְפָה עֵינִי Job 16:20i.e. weeps ( drops in tears); דָּֽלְפָה נַפְשִׁימִתּוּגָה Psalm 119:28i.e. weeps (itself away Che compare De); Imperfect בְּשִׁפְלוּת יָדַיִם יִדְלֹף הַבָּֽיִת׃ Ecclesiastes 10:18 the house drips, i.e. leaks, because cracks are not mended.
דָּלַף fut. יִדְלֹף
(1) to drop, to drip, used of a house, Ecclesiastes 10:18, יִדְלֹף הַבַּיִת “the house drops,” lets in rain through the chinks in the roof.
(2) to shed tears, to weep, used of the eye. Job 16:20, אֶל־אֱלֹוהַּ דָּֽלְפָה עֵינִי “my eye sheds tears to God.” Psalms 119:28, דָּֽלְפָה נַפְשִׁי “my soul weeps.” Compare נֶפֶשׁ No. 3. (Aram. id.; Arab. دلف to go slowly, to creep; VII. to be poured out, to flow; comp. דָּבַב). Hence
