אֲדֹנִירָם (“lord of height”), [Adoniram], pr.n. of a man who in the reigns of David and Solomon, was a royal minister, 1 Kings 4:6. In an unusual manner contracted into אֲדוֹרָם, [Adoram], 2 Samuel 20:24; 1 Kings 12:18, הֲדוֹרָם [Hadoram], 2 Chronicles 10:18.
