1) a stream, torrent-bed, or wadi in extreme south of Judah in Philistia; empties into the Mediterranean Sea
בְּשׂוֹר (“cold;” compare بسر V. to be cold, as water), [Besor], always with the art. הַבְּשׂוֹר, pr.n. of a stream near Gaza, emptying itself into the Mediterranean Sea, 1 Samuel 30:9, 10:21.
