See also Deissmann LAE2 p. 104 n..1, where reference is made to an Opramoas inscr. of A.D. 149 at Rhodiapolis in Lycia, with the spelling σειτομέτριον.
For the subst. σιτομέτρης cf. P Flor II. 162.5 (iii/A.D.) διὰ τοῦ δο ̣υ ̣̑ σ [ι ]τ ̣ομέτρου, and Preisigke 1485 (a mummy tablet) Σισῶτος σιτομέτρης ἐβίωσεν ξ ̄, and for the verb, as in Genesis 47:12, see IG XII. vii. 515.70.
