Syll 418.62 (iii/A.D.) οὐδεὶς ἡμεῖν ἐνόχλησεν οὔτε ξενίας (αἰτή)ματι οὔτε παροχῆς ἐπιτηδείων. For αἴτησις see P Oxy I. 56.21 ff. (A.D. 211) διέγραψα δὲ τὸ ὡρισμένον τῆς αἰτήσ [εω ]ς τέλος : ";I have paid the appointed tax for making such a request"; (Edd.) : the word is fairly common.
