καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Αζαριας ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἄρχων εἰς οἶκον Σαδωκ καὶ εἶπεν ἐξ οὗ ἦρκται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ φέρεσθαι εἰς οἶκον κυρίου, ἐφάγομεν καὶ ἐπίομεν καὶ κατελίπομεν· ὅτι κύριος ηὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατελίπομεν ἔτι τὸ πλῆθος τοῦτο.

and Azariah, the chief priest of the household of Zadok, ... answered him, "Since the people began to bring their contributions into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat and there is plenty left over, ... because the LORD has blessed - His people; this great abundance is what is left over." -

Azariah the chief priest who was of the house of Zadok answered him Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left for the Lord has blessed his people so that we have this large amount left
Holman Christian Standard Version
Azariah, the chief priest of the household of Zadok, answered him, "Since they began bringing the offering to the Lord's temple, we eat and are satisfied and there is plenty left over because the Lord has blessed His people; this abundance is what is left over."

And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said (8799), Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat (8800), and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
