Moorish envoy to England; born in Mogador, Morocco, at the end of the eighteenth century; died at Portsea, England, in Jan., 1872. He was connected with the Guedella family, agents for the Sultan of Morocco and one of the wealthiest merchant firms in Mogador. In 1820 Yuly went to England, as the accredited representative of the Sultan of Morocco, with letters to the British government. He afterward resided permanently in England, but kept up a trading connection with Mogador. See MOROCCO.
