Rabbi of Oronie, Hungary, in the eighteenth century. He wrote "Katit la-Ma'or," halakic novellæ to some Talmudic treatises; and "Shemen ha-Ma'or," novellæ on ritualistic matters. Both these works appeared in Vienna in 1792.
