Sfej, Abraham
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia

Rabbinical author; born at Tunis in the early part of the eighteenth century; died at Amsterdam in 1784, while discharging the duties of collecting rabbi for the community of Jerusalem. Sfej left his native city and settled in Jerusalem, sojourning for a time in Constantinople. He wrote a work entitled "'Ene Abraham" (Amsterdam, 1784), a commentary on the "Yad ha-Ḥazaḳah" of Maimonides.
