Dutch ritualist; lived in Amsterdam in the early part of the seventeenth century. He was a disciple of Abraham Rovigo, whose commentary to the Zohar, "Eshel Abraham," he arranged and corrected. It was published, with the text, at Fürth in 1701; his preface to it, entitled "Haḳdamat Eshel Abraham," was published in the preceding year. He wrote also "Miḳweh Yisrael," a treatise on circumcision in Judæo-German, which appeared in 1710 with David of Lida's "Sod Adonai" appended.
