Polish rabbi; died at Hebron, Palestine, 1735. He became rabbi of Byala, and later, after residing for some time at Brest-Litovsk, of Eibenschütz, Moravia. In old age he removed to Hebron. Elijah was the author of "Yad Eliyahu," responsa, Amsterdam, 1712.
