Bohemian scholar; lived at Prague in the middle of the seventeenth century. He filled the office of secretary to Simon Spira, chief rabbi of Prague, and he published, under the title "Milḥamah be-Shalom," an account of the siege of Prague by the Swedes in 1648 and of the suffering of the Jews on that occasion. Printed first at Prague, it was reproduced later, with a Latin translation by Wagenseil, in "Exercitatio Tertia," and republished in the "Bikkure ha-'Ittim," 4:103 et seq.
