Austrian physician; born at Koritschan, Moravia, Dec. 10, 1867; studied medicine at Vienna and Heidelberg (M.D. 1891). In 1895 he became privat-docent in medicine at the University of Vienna. Besides lecturing during the sessions of the university he practises medicine at Carlsbad during the summer months.
Kolisch has written several essays in the medical journals, and is the author of "Urätische Diathese," Stuttgart, 1894; "Lehrbuch der Diätetischen Therapie," Vienna, 1899.
