Errera, Giorgio

Italian chemist; born Oct. 26, 1860, at Venice; educated at the universities of Padua and Turin, from which latter place he was graduated doctor of chemistry in 1882. Errera was appointed lecturer to the philosophical faculty of his alma mater, and became assistant to the professor of chemistry. In 1892 he was appointed professor of chemistry in the University of Messina.
Errera is the author of many essays published in chemical journals, especially in the "Gazzetta Chimica Italiana," vol. , and in the "Berichte der Deutschen Chemischen Gesellschaft," 1898 He wrote, also, "Lezion di Polarimetria" (Turin, 1891).
