- English merchant and financier born in Venice Sept. 22, 1730 died at Stoke Newington, London, in 1816. He went to England in 1748, and settled there as a merchant, though he did not take out papers of denization till 1801.
Though a conforming Jew, and though contributing liberally toward the support of the synagogue, D'Israeli appears never to have cordially or intimately, mixed with the community only on one occasion did he serve in a minor office—that of inspector of charity schools in the year 1782.
- Public notary in Dublin, Ireland, 1788-96 died at Beechey Park, county of Carlow, Aug. 9, 1814, and was buried in St. Peter's churchyard, Dublin.
