Jewish convert to Christianity; born at Frankfort-on-the-Main in the middle of the seventeenth century; died there in 1702. He published a German work entitled "Meïr Naor" (The Enlightened Meïr, from his Jewish name, Meïr), Frankfort, 1787, giving an account of his conversion, notices on the Jewish festivals, and on some Jewish prayers.
