Rabbi of Zamosz, Poland, at the end of the seventeenth century. He wrote a book called "Pene Aryeh Zuṭa" (The Face of the Lion, the Smaller), Wilhelmsdorf, 1720 (according to some printed also in Sulzbach, s.a.); the work is, according to Wolf, an abridgment of his larger work, called "Pene Aryeh Rabbah" (The Face of the Lion, the Larger), an unpublished commentary on the Pentateuch.
