Tosafist, not yet fully identified. In "Pisḳe Tosafot" an Abraham ha-Levi is quoted who is not known otherwise than under this name. However, it is probable that he was identical with one of the many German or French tosafists of the name of Abraham, as the addition "ha-Levi" may have been dropped for convenience. He is possibly identical with Abraham ben Baruch, brother of Meir (ha-Levi) of Rothenburg, who flourished about 1225-93, and was the author of a work which still exists in manuscript.
