21 Template:tb

22 Template:td

23 Template:th

24 Template:Title

Template:Border

A special template for use with tables. See Help:Table

Template:Caps

Used for the odd word in the encyclopedia which is rendered all in capitals but where only the first letter is full size.

{{caps|Example}} or {{c|Example}} gives Example .

Template:Cellpadding

A special template for use with tables. See Help:Table

Template:Dablink

To be used on pages where the article title is the same word as the disambiguation page.

E.g.

Aberdeen has a corresponding disambiguation page called Aberdeen (disambiguation). Inserting the dablink template {{dablink}} as the first item on the page provides a neat link to the disambiguation page.

But Aberdeen, South Dakota is not in need of disambiguation so the dablink template would not be used here. (It would try to link to a page called Aberdeen, South Dakota (disambiguation), which does not exist).

Template:Deleteme

Template:Disamb

To provide a uniform paragraph of explanatory text on a disambiguation page

Template:Discussion

Creates a note that information has been added to an article's 'What's new page'.

Template:Discussiontop

see above

Template:Fraction

Creates diagonal fractions.

{{fraction|25|32}} gives 2532

Template:Frac

Creates fractions. It is intended to be used in tables (with align=center). (Results can be unpredictable, otherwise.)

{{frac|12|6789}} & {{frac1|12|6789}} give

12
6789

   &

12
6789

{{frac|1234|89}} & {{frac1|1234|89}} give

1234
89

   &

1234
89

So for improper fractions frac1 looks better.

Template:NextPrev

To be used at the end of an article to link to the previous & the next articles.

Template:Music-flat

To display a musical flat symbol.

E.g. {{music-flat)) gives

Template:Note

To provide a superscript numeral & the link to the corresponding reference.

See Help:Footnote.

E.g. {{note|1|ref}} or {{n|1|ref}} gives 1

Template:Page

To show where a page break occurred in the original encyclopedia.

E.g. {{page|123|124}} or {{p|123|124}} looks like >><<

Template:Ref

To provide a superscript numeral & the link to the corresponding footnote.

See Help:Footnote

E.g. {{ref|1|note}} or {{r|1|note}} gives 1

Template:See

To provide a smallcaps link where the encyclopedia has a (see Article ) comment.

E.g. (See {{see|Example}}.) gives (See Example .)

Template:Seealso

Template:Space

{{space}} or {{s}} inserts 3 non-breaking spaces.

{{s1}} to {{s9}} inserts the corresponding number of nb-spaces.

These are useful templates for tables.

Template:Tagleft

Example of left tag

In the original encyclopedia there are (what I call) tags on the pages of longer articles. These are a few words about the topic at the point where the tag is on the page. This template is designed to recreate the look of the original tags using a table aligned either left or right. I think the template works best if it is inserted at the beginning of the paragraph that is to wrap round it.

Template:Tagright

Example of right tag.

Template:tb

A special template for use with tables. See Help:Table

Template:td

A special template for use with tables. See Help:Table

Template:th

A special template for use with tables. See Help:Table

Template:Title

{{title}} or {{t}} is used for the article title. This template allows more flexibility than the usual ''EXAMPLE'', which gives EXAMPLE . Instead, {{T|Example}} gives Example .
