Verb therapeuo ther-ap-yoo'-o ) primarily signifies "to serve as a therapon, and attendant;" then, "to care for the sick, to treat, cure, heal" (Eng., "therapeutics"). It is chiefly used in Matthew and Luke, once in John (John 5:10 ), and, after the Acts, only Revelation 13:3,12 . See CURE.
