(1411-1495) Theologian, born Chivasso, Italy; died Coni. He was a Franciscan, appointed Apostolic Nuncio by Sixtus IV and Innocent VIII, commissioned by the former to preach a holy war against invading Turks, and by the latter to prevent the spread of Waldensianism. His "Cases of Conscience" is a famous dictionary of moral theology.
