(hee' lehch) Transliteration of Hebrew noun in NRSV, NIV which KJV, TEV, NAS interpret as meaning “your army.” REB interprets Helech with many modern Bible students and reference books to refer to Cilicia. The precise meaning in the context is not known. Ezekiel described the good days of Tyre as having its massive city walls protected by foreign soldiers, but the precise home of these soldiers is not certain (Ezekiel 27:11 ).
