(ehn-mihssh' puht) Place name meaning, “spring of judgment.” Another name for Kadesh, where the eastern coalition of kings defeated the Amalekites and Amorites. The location is usually called Kadesh-Barnea and identified with the oasis now called ain Hudeirat. See Kadesh-Barnea .
