Very common israeli lizard I found on the beach. there is a trick that you can turn them over and pet their bellys and they fall asleep. just gotta love'em. they're called "Hardon" in hebrew.

Lizard — Immense is the number of these reptiles in Israel; no less than 44 species are found there, Among those mentioned in the Bible we may cite:
- The Letã'ah - Strongs: H3911 (Lev 11:30), general name of the lizard, applied especially to the common lizard, the green lizard, the blindworm, etc.;
- the chõmét - Strongs: H2546 (Lev 11:30), or sand lizard;
- the çãb - Strongs: H6632 (Lev 11:29), or dább of the Arabs (Uromastix spinipes);
- the kõâh - Strongs: H3581 (Lev 11:30), the divers kinds of monitor (psammosaurus scincus, hydrosaurus niloticus, etc.);
- the 'anãqah - Strongs: H604 (Lev 11:30) or gecko;
- the semãmîth - Strongs: H8079 (Pro 30:28) or stellio.
