THE TIME-TEST

Genesis 41:33-44

God never forgets, and never fails. Wait­ing is the acid test of strength. The turn in the long road comes at last. It had been a long road for Joseph. It had been a desperately rough road, too. There was the slimy pit, the brothers’ treachery, the slave chains, the terrible palace temptation, and the prison cell. But strength believes God. It bides his time. It trusts in the darkest hour. And God never fails and never forgets.
