FIRST THINGS IN FIRST PLACE

Daniel 1:8-16

Loyalty means being true. Principle means the first thing. Be true to first things— purity of heart and body, honesty of word and life, obedience to God, unselfish love toward all. Never waver on these for a moment, by so much as the half-breadth of a narrow hair. Keep first things in first place and other things’ll take care of themselves. There’s nothing so manly and womanly as being true, and noth­ing so Christly as being gentle.
