Davi, como rei, pôde ter conhecido muita gente que lhe fingiu amizade para obter suas próprias metas. Davi sabia que Deus os castigaria chegado o momento, mas orou que seu castigo chegasse rapidamente. Os verdadeiros crentes deveriam ser sinceros e francos em todas suas relações.
