i.e. the king's leader, or attendant. Daniel 2:26; Daniel 4:8; Daniel 4:9; Daniel 4:18; Daniel 4:19; Daniel 5:12. Identical in meaning with Belshazzar.
Verse 21
continued
i.e. to see the return of the remnant of Judah at the end of the 70 years, Jeremiah 25:11; Jeremiah 25:12; Jeremiah 29:10. Daniel actually lived beyond the first year of Cyrus. Daniel 10:1.
