The Bible teaches us that God cares for us, loves us, and wants to give us good things. The way we can be receptive to that is by living with open hands on the things we have in this life, cheerfully giving as the Spirit leads and building a treasure in Heaven that can never be destroyed.

Love the Sin, Hate the Sinner
November 3, 2024
When we choose to follow Jesus, He leads us to other broken people in need of a healing Savior. Too often we hold back things in our own lives, such as our talents, our time or our money, because we think that if we offer it up that God is just going to take it all away and leave us empty handed. Inpowered
October 29, 2024
Since Jesus died for us to save us from the power of sin, God puts His Spirit not just around us but in us when we receive His salvation. That means that His power dwells in us and we cannot be separated from it. Any temptation or tribulation we face, we can have confidence to function in His power rather than our own and we can overcome anything.

Unfriend
October 27, 2024
When our relationship with Jesus is working as we obey Him in the simple things He asks us to do, our relationships with others tend to work out as well. Even the most broken relationships can be reconciled by allowing God to come in and do the healing.

Weekend Getaway
October 25, 2024
All we have to do to be saved is to admit that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead. Jesus died so that we can have life, and God's power to raise Him from the dead is the same power that can give us an abundant life in Heaven and here on earth.

Dear Life
October 24, 2024
In this world, we are not always kind to ourselves and make a mess of our lives, accept it as a mess and survive until the end. God has given us purpose through His Son, calling us to live in relationship with Him and let Him make our lives dear and purposeful.
