We've seen it so often in the church, a family, neighborhood and even in this nation… division!  And it's not hard to see the damage that's left behind.  People no longer talking to each other, church splits, divorce, and on and on I could go.  How does God feel about it, and how can we avoid it?  Those are just a couple of key questions pastor John Randall will address in this our final study of Romans on a Daily Walk.  We're learning how to prevent division.

Planning Ahead Part 1

Pastor John Randall is nearing the completion of his study in Romans.  We'll finish up chapter fifteen today and next time.  Maybe you're the type of person that likes to plan ahead, set your goals and set out to achieve them.  There's nothing wrong with that. In fact the apostle Paul was a planner too. But there are some important things to keep in mind along the journey.  Like expect some hindrances and opposition!

He writes in this letter to the church in Rome, about why he does what he does – and the recognition that he's only an instrument in God's hands. We can learn a lot from Paul's example, as he shares his goals, plans and even a bit about the opposition he faced.

We'll be entering into a more personal and biographical section of Romans, and glean insight on Paul's heart for the Church in Rome!  We'll discover why he was so effective as a leader, teacher and preacher of the gospel. He made it his aim to be pleasing to the Lord, and sought to glorify the Lord.  Pastor John Randall suggests we follow in those footsteps.
