but those that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Yahweh; and those that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

But they rebelled, and grieved his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, [and] himself fought against them.

Your holy people possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.

But now, O Yahweh, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and all of us are the work of your hand.

Look, it is written before me: I will not keep silent, but will recompense, yes, I will recompense into their bosom,

But you that forsake Yahweh, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for Fortune, and that fill up mingled wine to Destiny;

I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that wherein I did not delight.

Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Look, my slaves shall eat, but you shall be hungry; look, my slaves shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; look, my slaves shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame;

look, my slaves shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit.

But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, look, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

For all these things my hand has made, and [so] all these things had come to be, says Yahweh: but to this man I will look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembles at my word.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, none answered; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that wherein I did not delight.

Hear the word of Yahweh, you that tremble at his word: Your brothers that hate you, that cast you out for my name's sake, have said, Let Yahweh be glorious, that we may see your joy; but it is those that shall be put to shame.

But Yahweh said to me, Don't say, I am a child; for to whoever I shall send you you shall go, and whatever I shall command you you shall speak.

And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you, says Yahweh, to deliver you.

And I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage disgusting.

Has a nation changed [its] gods, which yet are no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst: but you said, It is in vain; no, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.

who say to a stock, You are my father; and to a stone, You have brought me forth: for they have turned their back to me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

But where are your gods that you have made for yourself? let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble: for according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah.
