Woe to the rebellious sons, says Yahweh, that take counsel, but not of me; and that make a league, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,

They shall all be ashamed because of a people that can't profit them, that are not a help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

but you said, No, for we will flee on horses; therefore you shall flee: and, We will ride on the swift; therefore those that pursue you shall be swift.

And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers shall not be hidden anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers;

Woe to those that go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don't look to the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Yahweh!

Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evil-doers, and against the help of those that work iniquity.

But the noble devises noble things; and in noble things he shall continue.

But it shall hail in the downfall of the forest; and the city shall be completely laid low.

But there Yahweh will be with us in majesty, a place of broad rivers and streams, wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it; and the owl and the raven shall dwell therein: and he will stretch over it the line of confusion, and the plummet of emptiness.

They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there; and all its princes shall be nothing.

And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for [the redeemed]: the wayfaring men, yes fools, shall not err [therein].

No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there]:

I say, [your] counsel and strength for the war are but vain words: now on whom do you trust, that you have rebelled against me?

But if you say to me, We trust in Yahweh our God: isn't that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar?

But Rabshakeh said, Has my master sent me to your master, and to you, to speak these words? [has he] not [sent me] to the men that sit on the wall, to eat their own feces, and to drink their own urine with you?

But they held their peace, and did not answer him a word; for the king's commandment was, saying, Don't answer him.

and have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of man's hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.

But I know your rising up and your sitting down, and your going out and your coming in, and your raging against me.

Look, [it was] for [my] peace [that] I had great bitterness: But you have in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; For you have cast all my sins behind your back.
