He does not keep the wicked alive,But gives justice to the afflicted.

He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous;But with kings on the throneHe has seated them forever, and they are exalted.

But if they do not hear, they shall pass away by a weaponAnd they will breathe their last without knowledge.

But the godless in heart lay up anger;They do not cry for help when He binds them.

"But you were full of judgment on the wicked;Judgment and justice take hold of you.

"So now men do not see the light which is bright in the skies;But the wind has passed and cleared them.

And I said, ‘Thus far you shall come, but no farther;And here shall your proud waves stop'?

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear;But now my eye sees You;

But his delight is in the law of Yahweh,And in His law he meditates day and night.

The wicked are not so,But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.

For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,But the way of the wicked will perish.

"But as for Me, I have installed My KingUpon Zion, My holy mountain."

But You, O Yahweh, are a shield about me,My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

But know that Yahweh has set apart the holy one for Himself;Yahweh hears when I call to Him.

But as for me, in the abundance of Your lovingkindness I will enter Your house,At Your holy temple I will worship in fear of You.

But let all who take refuge in You be glad,Let them ever sing for joy;And may You shelter them,That those who love Your name may exult in You.

And my soul is greatly dismayed;But You, O Yahweh—how long?

O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous;For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.

But Yahweh abides forever;He has established His throne for judgment,

Put them in fear, O Yahweh;Let the nations know that they are but men. Selah.
