But you are he that took me out of the womb; You made me trust [when I was] on my mother's breasts.

But don't be far off, O Yahweh: O you my succor, hurry to help me.

For he has not despised nor detested the affliction of the afflicted; Neither has he hid his face from him; But when he cried to him, he heard.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful to me.

Don't draw me away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.

For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime: Weeping may spend the night, But joy [comes] in the morning.

I hate those that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Yahweh.

But I trusted in you, O Yahweh: I said, You are my God.

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he that trusts in Yahweh, loving-kindness shall compass him about.

The young lions lack, and suffer hunger; But those that seek Yahweh shall not want any good thing.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I afflicted my soul with fasting; And my prayer returned into my own bosom.

But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I didn't know [it]; They tore me, and did not cease:

For they don't speak peace; But they devise deceitful words against those that are quiet in the land.

For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Yahweh, they shall inherit the land.

But the meek shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Yahweh upholds the righteous.

But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Yahweh shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; In smoke they shall consume away.

The wicked borrows, and does not pay again; But the righteous deals graciously, and gives.

For Yahweh loves justice, And does not forsake his saints; They are preserved forever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
