Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we trust the name of the LORD our God.

They are bowed down and fallen, But we rise up, and stand upright.

My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don't answer; In the night season, and am not silent.

But you are holy, You who inhabit the praises of Yisra'el.

But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people.

But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust at my mother's breasts.

But don't be far off, LORD. You are my help: hurry to help me.

For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hid his face from him; But when he cried to him, he heard.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. Redeem me, and be merciful to me.

Don't draw me away with the wicked, With the workers of iniquity who speak shalom with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.

For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, But joy comes in the morning.

You, LORD, when you favored me, made my mountain to stand strong. But when you hid your face, I was troubled.

I hate those who regard lying vanities, But I trust in the LORD.

But I trust in you, LORD. I said, You are my God.

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, But he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him.

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth. I afflicted my soul with fasting. My prayer returned into my own bosom.

But in my adversity, they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The attackers gathered themselves together against me, and I didn't know it. They tore at me, and didn't cease.

For they don't speak shalom, But they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.
