But it wasn't intended to bash believers with, it was to show how ornery and rebellious cowboys were by nature. No one accidentally follows God. We are all ungodly and full of sin. But these people hold nothing sacred. They'd kill their own moms and dads if it'd save their own hides.

I know this is hard to understand. It is the mystery of our faith—God came down from heaven so we could see him. He didn't need human acceptance. The Spirit of God was with him.
