But to the land whereunto their soul longs to return, there shall they not return.

but, As the LORD lives, who brought up and who led the seed of the house of Yisra'el out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them. They shall dwell in their own land.

But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

But if you say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus says the LORD: Because you say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent to you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

From the thirteenth year of Yoshiyahu the son of Amon, king of Yehudah, even to this day, these twenty-three years, the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; but you have not listened.

The LORD has sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, (but you have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear,)

to listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send to you, even rising up early and sending them, but you have not listened;

But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes.

and when Yehoiakim the king, with all his mighty-men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death; but when Uriyah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Mitzrayim:

But the hand of Achikam the son of Shafan was with Yirmeyahu, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.

But as for you, don't you listen to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Bavel:

But the nation that shall bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Bavel, and serve him, that [nation] will I let remain in their own land, says the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

For I have not sent them, says the LORD, but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.

But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of Hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Yehudah, and at Yerushalayim, don't go to Bavel.

Go, and tell Hananyah, saying, Thus says the LORD: You have broken the bars of wood; but you have made in their place bars of iron.

Then said the prophet Yirmeyahu to Hananyah the prophet, Hear now, Hananyah: the LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.

because they have not listened to my words, says the LORD, with which I sent to them my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but you would not hear, says the LORD.

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Ya`akov's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

but they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.
