Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.

and don't think to say to yourselves, We have Abraham for our father: for I say to you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.

But Jesus answering said to him, Allow [it] now: for thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allows him.

and says to him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and, On their hands they shall bear you up, Lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.

Then Jesus says to him, Go, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve only him.

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
