But if any man says to you, This has been offered in sacrifice, don't eat, for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake:

conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's; for why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the [profit] of the many, that they may be saved.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head; for it is one and the same thing as if she were shaven.

For if a woman is not veiled, let her also be shorn: but if it is a shame to a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head veiled, since he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man:

for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man:

For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are of God.

But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given to her for a covering.

But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

But in giving you this charge, I do not praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.

But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.

But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are chastened, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Therefore I make known to you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God says, Accursed Jesus; and no man can say, Lord Jesus, but in the Holy Spirit.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit as well.
