And Moses said to Yahweh, Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before, nor since you have spoken to your slave; for I am slow of mouth, and slow of tongue.

And Yahweh said to Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt; for all the men are dead that sought your life.

You shall no more give the people straw to make bricks, as before: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

And the number of the bricks, which they made before, you shall lay on them; you shall not diminish anything thereof: for they are idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.

Go yourselves, you get straw where you can find it: for nothing of your work shall be diminished.

So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble for straw.

Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet you shall deliver the number of bricks.

For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has dealt ill with this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.

And Yahweh said to Moses, Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand [of God] he shall let them go, and with a strong hand [of God] he shall drive them out of his land.

And I will bring you in to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.

And Moses so spoke to the sons of Israel: but they didn't listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel slavery.

When Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, Show a wonder for yourselves; then you shall say to Aaron, Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it becomes a serpent.

Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers: and the sacred scholars of Egypt also did in like manner with their witchcraft.

For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

And all the Egyptians dug round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.

And Moses said to Pharaoh, You have this glory over me: for what time shall I entreat for you, and for your slaves, and for your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river only?

And he said, For tomorrow. And he said, Let it be according to your word; that you may know that there is none like Yahweh our God.

For if you will not let my people go, look, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your slaves, and on your people, and into your houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go, sacrifice to your God in the land.
