Now some folks will mouth-off and say that if they have faith, they don't have to do anything. But I say that a saddle ain't nothin' but a decoration if it ain't on a horse and being used. Same goes for faith and works.

Do you want a cookie for saying the Boss is real? Shoot, even demons know that—and crap their pants in fear.

Ain't many of you will be called to teach others how to ride for the Boss's outfit because you know these cowboys will be judged more strictly.

But if your way is riddled with bitter jealousy and always lookin' out only for yourself, don't go around braggin' and lyin' about who you really are.

You want and want, yet do not have; you slay and lust, but you cannot get; you start fights and argue over everything. You don't have what you really need because you don't ask for it.

You don't get what you ask for because the things you are asking for come from your evil desires and lustful passions.

But the Boss is above and beyond generous. That's why the Good Book says, "God shuns the proud, but always makes a spot for the humble."

Spread your bedroll next to the Boss and he will keep the fire warm and the wolves away. Wash your hands of the filth you've been living in and quit ridin' for the Boss during the day and the devil by night.

Be willing to do anything and everything for the outfit without complaint or grumble and the Boss will make you a top hand.

Here's somethin' for all who go around saying stuff like, "Today I'm gonna ride into town and tomorrow I'm gonna start breakin' horses and start my own business."

What do you know of tomorrow? You think so mighty of yourself that you can predict your own future? Cowboy, you ain't nothing more than smoke off a calf's branded hide. You are here for a second and then you're gone.

You're full of pleasure and plenty, but all this is just like grain you've been feeding yourself for the slaughter to come.

To ride further and harder than anyone else is an honor. A man don't make a name for himself by sitting around twiddlin' his thumbs. Think about that Job fellow. His life and the trail he rode proved the Lord looks after and cares for those who ride for Him.

Is anybody feeling poorly? He should ask the leaders of the church to pray for him and they will rub some oil on his head in the name of the Lord.

Shoot! Even Elijah was just a cowboy like us and he prayed God would stove-up the rains and it didn't rain for three and a half years.

he should know that he has saved him from being drug to the fire. There ain't nothing better you can do for a man than to bring him back to the One who does the forgivin' of sins.

God planned all along to make y'all his cowboys, his holy people, which is the work of the Holy Ghost. God wanted y'all to ride for him and him alone and to be washed in the blood of his Son's sacrifice.May your ride with God be filled with grace and peace.

The old cowboys who rode for God studied hard and tried to figure out the grace that was coming.

Everything these old cowboys did was not for themselves. They were looking out for you when they told of what God had showed them about the future. You have heard about the future they were shown when those you know shared with you the good news of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Shoot, even the angels long to know more about these things you were told.

Before, you only rode for yourself and did whatever you wanted to do. But now you are children of God and we ride for him and do whatever he wants us to.
