The holiest part of the tent was reserved for the high priest, and he only went in there once a year. When he did, he made a sacrifice for his sins and the people's sins they committed out of ignorance, not choice.

These things were just used in various religious ceremonies for purification and stuff. God chose this way until his true plan was set into action.

But Christ came riding in as the last high priest, the final trail boss. His way is good and better for all of us. He didn't go through a tent to get to God, he was one with God.

Jesus didn't use the blood of animals to forgive sin, he used his own blood. Since it was perfect, there never needs to be another sacrifice for those who believe in him.

But the blood of Christ washes us all clean, inside and out. By the power of the Holy Ghost, Jesus offered himself up as the final sacrifice and cleansed our consciences from the sorry deeds we've done. Now that we are free and pure, we can ride for the living God.

Jesus didn't walk into a holy place made from human hands, he went to the real deal in heaven so he could vouch for us once and for all in front of God.

Jesus died once and then took away the sins of the world. No need to do it again if it was perfect the first time. Jesus is going to come riding back, but it won't be to save us from sin, he already did that. He will come riding over the hill again to take his cowboys who have been watching for him back home with him forever.

That old agreement between God and his people was just the shadow on the ground of the real thing to come. Every single year, every sacrifice had to be made again and again. Animal blood just couldn't get the job done for very long. The cleaning it gave just wasn't pure. Following rules and sacrificing animals couldn't make anyone perfect.

If it could've made someone perfect, then there wouldn't by any need for more sacrifices. There'd have been no feeling guilty for anyone.

Then Christ said, "I'm here to do the job you sent me to do." He cancels out the need for the first code in order to make mandatory the second code (agreement).

we can walk right in because we ride for him. We no longer feel guilty or ashamed because we have been washed clean by the blood of Christ.

The only thing you'll have to look forward to is the last few breaths you have. God's judgment and a raging fire is what waits for you.

You just keep on keeping on. Keep on riding for him and everything will be fine, but not easy. Only then will you get what you've been promised.
