He replied, "What is impossible for mortals is possible for God."

And he said to them, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,

For he will be handed over to the Gentiles; and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon.

"What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me see again."

When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today."

For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost."

So he said, "A nobleman went to a distant country to get royal power for himself and then return.

for I was afraid of you, because you are a harsh man; you take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.'

But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and slaughter them in my presence.'"

As he was now approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen,

saying, "If you, even you, had only recognized on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

Every day he was teaching in the temple. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people kept looking for a way to kill him;

but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people were spellbound by what they heard.

But if we say, ‘Of human origin,' all the people will stone us; for they are convinced that John was a prophet."

He began to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, and leased it to tenants, and went to another country for a long time.

Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to the emperor, or not?"

and asked him a question, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies, leaving a wife but no children, the man shall marry the widow and raise up children for his brother.

In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? For the seven had married her."

Now he is God not of the dead, but of the living; for to him all of them are alive."

For they no longer dared to ask him another question.
