And if he smites out his male slave's tooth, or his female slave's tooth, he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.

If there be laid on him a ransom, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatever is laid on him.

Or if it is known that the ox was in the habit to gore in time past, and its owner has not kept it in, he shall surely pay ox for ox, and the dead [beast] shall be his own.

If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

If the thief is found breaking in, and is smitten so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguiltiness for him.

If the sun is risen on him, there shall be bloodguiltiness for him; he shall make restitution: if he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

For every matter of trespass, whether it is for ox, for donkey, for sheep, for raiment, [or] for any manner of lost thing, whereof one says, This is it, the cause of both parties shall come before the gods; he whom the gods shall condemn shall pay double to his neighbor.

If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for witness: he shall not make good that which was torn.

And if a man entices a virgin that is not betrothed, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.

And a sojourner you shall not wrong, neither shall you oppress him: for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? And it shall come to pass, when he cries to me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

Keep far from a false matter; and don't slay the innocent and righteous: for I will not justify the wicked.

And you shall take no bribe: for a bribe blinds those that have sight, and perverts the words of the righteous.

And a sojourner you shall not oppress: for you know the heart of a sojourner, seeing you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

The feast of unleavened bread you shall keep: seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib (for in it you came out from Egypt); and no one shall appear before me empty:

You take heed before him, and listen to his voice; don't provoke him; for he will not pardon your transgression: for my name is in him.

For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: and I will cut them off.
