But to us God revealed them through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the depths graciously given to us by God,

of which depths we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual depths with spiritual words.

But a natural man does not accept the depths of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually examined.

But he who is spiritual examines all things, yet he himself is examined by no one.

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will direct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to fleshly men, as to infants in Christ.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.

So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it.

If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court. In fact, I do not even examine myself.

For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted. But the one who examines me is the Lord.

Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and make manifest the motives of hearts. And then each one's praise will come to him from God.

We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are prudent in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are glorious, but we are without honor!

I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall know, not the words of those who are puffed up but their power.

For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.

For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present:
