Then He *said to Thomas, "Bring your finger here, and see My hands; and bring your hand here and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing."

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.

But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away, dragging the net full of fish.

Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go."

Therefore this saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, "If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?"

And gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me;

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."

But He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set by His own authority;

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the end of the earth."

But others, mocking, were saying, "They are full of new wine."

But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: "Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words.

but this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:

But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says:‘The Lord said to my Lord,"Sit at My right hand,

But when Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him, he said, "Look at us!"

But Peter said, "I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!"

But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

but put to death the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.
