And I said, Wisdom is better than strength; but the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

Wisdom is better than weapons of conflict; but one sinner destroys much good.

The heart of the wise is toward his right, but the fool's heart toward his left.

If the iron is blunt, and he does not whet the mouths, then he must put more strength to it . But wisdom is an advantage giving success.

The words of a wise mouth are grace, but the lips of a stupid one swallow him;

Bread is made for laughter, and wine gladdens life; but silver answers all things .

But if the man lives many years, let him rejoice in them all, and remember the days of darkness, for they shall be many. All that may come is vanity.

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth. And make your heart glad in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

But My dove, My perfect one is one alone . She is the only one to her mother; she is the choice of the one who bore her. The daughters saw her and calledher blessed; the queens and the concubinessaw her, and they praised her.

I did not know, but My soul set Me on the chariots of My princely people.

Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth! For Jehovah has spoken: I have nursed and brought up sons, but they have rebelled against Me.

The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's manger, but Israel does not know; My people have not understood.

But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

Oh how the faithful city has become a harlot! She was full of justice; righteousness lodged in it. But now, murderers!
