For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man.

Therefore Jesus said, "For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him who sent Me.

But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were going to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Others were saying, "This is the Christ." Still others were saying, "No, for is the Christ going to come from Galilee?

Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness about Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.

Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him."

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come of Myself, but He sent Me.

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God."

but how he now sees, we do not know; or who opened his eyes, we do not know. Ask him; he is of age, he will speak for himself."

His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed Him to be Christ, he was to be put out of the synagogue.

For this reason his parents said, "He is of age; ask him."

We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where He is from."

And Jesus said, "For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind."

"I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.

Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?"
