a Light for revelation to the nations, and the Glory of Your people Israel.

And Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mary, Behold, this One is set for the fall and rising up of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against;

But supposing Him to be in the company, they went a day on the way. And they looked for Him among the relatives and friends.

And not finding Him, they returned to Jerusalem, looking for Him.

And seeing Him, they were astounded. And His mother said to Him, Child, why did You do so to us? Behold, Your father and I were looking for You, greatly distressed.

And He said to them, Why did you look for me? Did you not know that I must be busy in the affairs of My Father?

And he came into the neighborhood of the Jordan proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins,
